Troubadour who was at the court of Alfonso II of Aragon, and went on a Crusade. He was called by his contemporaries 'Master of the Troubadours' and Dante ranked him second only to Arnaut Daniel. Only four of his melodies survive: his 'alba' or dawn song Reis gloriosbecame very famous and is exceptionally beautiful.
