Flemish composer, probably of Swiss descent. He was master of the choristers at the Brussels court from at least 1542 until 1551. He may have been a pupil of Josquin Des Pres, upon whose death he composed the motet Musae Jovis. He also published a collection of chansons in 1542, and his double canon Sancta Maria was worked into a tapestry presented to Mary of Hungary in 1548.
