Franco-Flemish composer. After a period at the Imperial court, where he was a pupil of Monte, he worked as organist in Speyer and Worms, becoming cathedral organist in Wurzburg (where he quarrelled with the builder of the new organ) in 1618. His continuo parts for Lassus' Magnum Opus Musicum were published posthumously in 1625; his own music appeared in anthologies.<
