Italian organist and composer. A pupil of
Giacomo Fogliano in Modena; became second organist at St Mark's,
Venice, in 1530 and entered the service of Cardinal Santa Fiore
in Rome in 1533. He published a volume of ricercars in 1550, and
is represented with
Willaert
and Girolamo Cavazzoni in the
Musica Nova
anthology of 1540.
