Laurentius Lemlin

(ca.1495 - ?1549)


German composer. Studied at Heidelberg, and was a singer and later Kapellmeister at the court chapel there. He taught Forster, who included many of Lemlin's songs in his collections, and also Jobst von Brandt, Othmayr and Zirler; his motets also appeared in anthologies.
