Richard Frith

English musician. Minstrel, wife Margaret, son William, friend James Sherman, also a minstrel. Richard Frith was a freeman of the Company of Musicians and Minstrels, and as such very likely to have been the dancing master of that name. Chambers in 'The Elizabethan Stage' mentions a dancing school kept by Richard Frith who rented a Blackfriars property in 1561.
