English organist and composer, son and pupil of William Mundy. He was organist at Eton, and in 1585 succeeded Merbecke at St George's, Windsor. he received the degree of D.Mus at Oxford in 1624.
He published a volume of Songs and Psalms in 1594, contributed to the Triumphs of Oriana, composed English and Latin sacred music, and is represented with five pieces inthe Fitzwilliam Virginal Book. His Goe from my window variations are a particularly fine example of the genre.
