John Nesbett

(?-?1488)

Nesbett is represented in the Eton Choirbook only by a Magnificat, one of the most attractive settings surviving. As in Horwood's Magnificat there is some quasi-canonic writing; this sounds decidedly archaic when compared with most of the Eton music.
