Isaac Posch

(? - 1623)

Austrian composer and organist. From 1614 an organist and organ builder in Carniola, he was in Oberberg [?Gomji Grad] in 1617-18 and Laibach [Ljubljana] in 1621. He published two volumes of instrumental suites in 4 and 5 parts, and one of concertos in up to 4 parts, some of which show the melodic influence of Slav folk music.
