Italian composer. Born in Loreto, he was organist of the Santa Casa, Loreto (1591-2, 1611-22), and of Pesaro Cathedral (1597); he also had connections with the Urbino court. He published eleven books of motets between 1613 and 1619 and five books of madrigals between1597 and 1617. He often used continuo and affective ornamentation.
