Wilhelm Hieronymus Pachelbel

(1686 - 1764)

Composer and organist. Elder son of Johann Pachelbel. He served as organist at Fürth and at the Predigerkirche in Erfurt, then at the Jakobikirche in Nuremberg (1706), at St. Egidien the same year, and was finally appointed to his father's old post at St. Sebald from 1719 until his death. His few surviving compositions are for keyboard.
