frei Filipe da Madre de Deus

(ca. 1630 - 1690)

Portuguese composer, born in Lisbon. Served from 1660 to 1667 as master of the chamber music of Alphonse VI, King of Portugal (1656-1667). Probably died in Seville, Spain.
