Juan García de Zéspedes

Composer born in Puebla, Mexico. Served as a choirboy under chapel master Gutiérrez de Padilla and eventually successed him in the post in 1664. He composed both sacred and secular compositions in every style from the Palestrina-like to the folkloric.
