English organist and composer, brother of Thomas Roseingrave. He succeeded his father Daniel Roseingrave at Christ Church, Dublin in 1719, holding the post through Daniel's death in 1727, when he succeeded him at St Patrick's Cathedral. Roseingrave was also a church composer.
